End of Summer blues
Another summer gone... we played our last performance of the season at The Jefferson House yesterday afternoon, and it was bittersweet. The weather had us all questioning whether we'd get to play at all, but the nice folks at The Jefferson House let us make the call and we decided to go for it! Mother Nature was kind enough to let us get almost 2 full sets in before she sent the rain to shut us down for the afternoon. On the bright side, it was a bit cooler than we've become accustomed to! Having grown up in Jefferson, this place really does feel like home to me, and I (personally) can't wait to get back there next summer. I'll close out this post the way we closed out the show -- God Bless America.
